Terms

VAT -

United Kingdom: All prices are plus VAT (currently at 17.5%) and this is charged on all orders.                      

EC Countries: All prices are plus VAT (currently at 17.5%). If you are VAT registered you are exempt from this tax if you quote your VAT number on orders.

DESPATCH -

We have a fast despatch service with orders going out within 1-2 working days (Monday-Friday excluding public holidays). If there is any you delay you will be emailed and advised.

We email you on day of despatch advising you that your goods are on the way. Also if we have any queries we contact you by email. Please check your email regularly. If you receive your goods and have not received an email from us it is likely that you have given an inaccurate email address.

PAYMENT -

Visa, Mastercard, Electron, Switch, Solo and Maestro cards are accepted.

Cheques and Postal Orders are also accepted. Cheques must be in £ sterling and drawn on a British bank.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS -

Many of the items we sell are handmade. If purchasing these you must expect size variations, surface imperfections and batch variations. This is quite normal for handmade items.

All web site photographs, size and colour descriptions are approximate and must be used as general guidance only.

STOCK -

This web site is maintained on a regular basis so almost all items listed will be in stock. On occasion however, an item ordered by a customer will be either out of stock or not available in the quantity required. In that event we usually send the quantity that we do have in stock, or if the item is out of stock we send the order without that item. If an item is essential for you, please email us before placing the order and we will check its availability.

We do not back order items but will on request advise you when out of stock items are back in stock.

RETURNS -

If you receive faulty or incorrect goods please email us within 7 days of receipt for instructions on how to return them for refund or correct  items. Shortages must be notified to us by email within 3 days of receipt of order. Please do not return items without instructions from us.

SHIPPING, HANDLING AND INSURANCE -

UK:  We make a nominal charge of £2.00 (plus VAT) for any size order.

All orders are sent by 1st class post (or equivalent). Most 1st class post arrives the next day but sometimes takes 2-3 days (particularly in remote areas and Christmas time).

If an order is urgent you may request the Royal Mail Special Delivery Service (for which there is an additional fee). This guarantees that the Royal Mail delivers the day after despatch. Please note that the actual despatch period by us will still be 1-2 days as stated above.

EEC Countries: We make a nominal charge of £3.00 (plus VAT) for any size order. Orders are sent by Airmail. Please allow 7 working days (from date of despatch) to arrive in most countries.

NON EEC Countries:  We are unable at present to supply other countries.

AMENDMENTS TO TERMS OF TRADING -

We reserve the right to make changes to our website or Terms of Trading at any time.
